UNIVERSIDAD DE LOS ANDES
Universidad de los Andes (UniAndes) is a private, not-for-profit University founded in 1948, Universidad de los Andes is one of Colombia’s leading research universities. Today, Uniandes is home to more than 20,000 students and has a community of more than 50,000 alumni (uniandinos) around the world.
The pre-conference workshop will take place on Thursday November 19th from 8:30AM onwards in the Edificio Carlos Pacheco Devia (Bloque W).

The conference will take place across three locations on the Universidad de los Andes campus: the Hemiciclo, located in the Edificio Lleras; Room W102, on the first floor of the Edificio Carlos Pacheco Devia (Bloque W); and Auditorium 513, located in the Edificio Mario Laserna, adjacent to Bloque W.

Entrance doors:
On both days, attendees can enter through the doors of the Edificio Carlos Pacheco Devia (Bloque W), where registration, welcome, and conference introductions will take place.
Quick note: If it helps, it’s just past the ML Building. So once you see that main building, just keep going uphill until you see these doors:
There will be plenty of staff, security personnel, and conference volunteers around campus, so if you find yourself lost or wondering where on earth the Bloque W is, don’t worry — just ask! You can simply say:
“¿Dónde está el W?”
Someone will happily to point you in the right direction. And if you hear someone call you “moris,” don’t be alarmed — it’s just a very Uniandes way of addressing people around campus.
Please note that Universidad de los Andes is a private campus and access is controlled at the entrances. You will receive a conference name badge, which will also serve as your identification for entering campus throughout the conference.
If it’s your first day and you haven’t received your badge yet, or if you happen to forget it, don’t worry! Just let a member of the conference team or security know, and we’ll be happy to help you get in.
