The 10th Latin American Political Methodology Conference (LAPolMeth) will take place in person in Bogotá, Colombia, on November 20–21, 2026, hosted by Universidad de los Andes. A pre-conference day on November 19th will focus on the use of AI in methods research and instruction, featuring practical workshops and a roundtable discussion. This event continues our tradition of advancing the development and application of innovative research methodologies within the political science community in the region. We welcome submissions that demonstrate methodological innovations as well as substantive work that applies advanced methods to pivotal political and social questions.

Abstract submissions will be accepted until June 15, 2026. Registration will close on October 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Please make sure to submit any final drafts by the registration deadline as well.

While we aim to promote quantitative social science research in Latin America, we are keen to include contributions from scholars working on other regions of the world.
